How it works

From source documents to a clearer money story.

Vaulted OS combines AI-assisted bookkeeping with human CFO services for US business owners. Start with a walkthrough to discuss your businesses, the condition of your books, and the financial questions you want help answering.

Connect the records.Bring the context.

Agree the work

Start with your business.

Bring a list of the businesses you own, the accounting tools you use, and the last period your books were completed. Explain whether you need ongoing bookkeeping, help with a backlog, human CFO guidance, or a combination.

Use the walkthrough to agree which entities and periods are included, what records are needed, who will do the work, and how the engagement will be priced. A proposed scope should also identify reporting and communication expectations.

Provide the context

Documents tell part of the story.

Bookkeeping starts with source records: bank and card statements, receipts, and the supporting details behind transactions. The owner supplies business context when a document alone cannot explain a payment.

For example, a payment to the same vendor could be an operating expense or a purchase of equipment. A receipt and an explanation of its use help the bookkeeper review how it belongs in the books. This is an illustrative example, not a client result.

Review and discuss

Connect the books to decisions.

AI assistance supports the bookkeeping workflow; human review and owner input remain part of the service. Ask how unclear transactions and missing documents will be raised with you, and agree who is responsible for resolving them.

Bookkeeping and reporting provide the starting point for a conversation about your business. Human CFO guidance helps you work through what the numbers mean for the decisions ahead. Agree the reports, periods, and delivery schedule for your engagement.

Before you get started

What should I bring to a walkthrough?

A list of your entities, your current accounting software, how far behind the books are, and your main financial questions. Do not send bank passwords or private documents through the public contact form.

How quickly will my books be ready?

Timing depends on the agreed scope and the completeness of your records. Confirm the catch-up and ongoing delivery schedule with the team before starting.

Your next step

Let’s talk about your business.

Bring your questions. We’ll discuss the work you need.
